Vehicle
you, a stevedore!

Their first Muze e.p. 'The Fire Is Warmer On The Inside' captured a very promising piece of Vehicle-music. Haunting melodies and strong chords delivered with a passionate sense of ambition. Vehicle maintains that sense of powerful music on the mature follow up 'you, a stevedore!'.

These four guys changed their direction slightly towards a heavier and more dynamic style of post rock. Call it math rock, call it art rock, or just keep it simple and label it instrumental rock. The style shift on 'you! a stevedore pictures the band lavishing on the influence of bands like Shellac and Tortoise while keeping in touch with their own, elegant post rock ways. Faraway you'll still hear some Labradford and Tristeza.

Again Vehicle brings us an e.p. with five intense, magical songs which do their job patiently. Vehicle understands the art of seduction. A craft that asks for a careful eye for every small detail and exactness in touching a string or bedevilling the drums. Take a seat and lean back, let Vehicle transport you to a place where music reigns supreme.
